Best Part of my 30 Day Yoga Challenge was NOT Finishing the 30 Day Yoga Challenge! Yes, this is a good thing for me. An unexpected, out of character, yet liberating outcome of my 30 Day Challenge was being 7 classes short of completing it. Not finishing something I set out to do is so not like me! Call it integrity, commitment or other positive words like that (I personally think it’s a little OCD), but I thrive on always working toward a specific goal, big or small. Being okay with not completing something is actually an accomplishment.
And fundamentally, it’s the yoga that has taught me that. So yes, being kind to myself and accepting less-than-perfection is the gift I came away with from my 23 days of yoga ☺
