Fun Health Facts
Almond flour is a great gluten free alternative to those who struggle with gluten sensitivity. Sensitivities can be a large hindrance in reaching your fitness and health goals. Often when sensitivities are present in the body, the intestinal lining becomes inflamed. When the intestinal lining is inflamed, the digestive system is greatly affected; there is a reduction in the absorption of nutrients and it becomes more difficult for food wastes to be pushed through for healthy bowel movements. When the body is not absorbing enough nutrients, muscle growth and metabolism are negatively impacted. In addition, unhealthy bowel movements lead to low energy levels which may contribute to poor workouts in the gym!
